Welcome to this blog!

I am Darek, born in December 1991, raised in Germany and with Polish roots. Early on, I realized that the world beyond my everyday life fascinated me. During my childhood and teenage years, our holidays almost always took us to Poland – nice, but at some point I wanted to see more.

So I made a decision: once I stand on my own two feet, I will travel and discover the world. And that is exactly what I have been doing ever since.

My first big long-distance trip was in 2015 when my brother and I traveled to the USA. We explored the East and West Coasts – and for me, it marked the beginning of a new passion. Since then, I keep asking myself the same question: Where will the next trip be?

Besides traveling, I work out, play basketball in a club, and enjoy spending time with friends. To relax, I watch series or movies, or take a ride with my boat into the sunset. If I’m in the mood for a bit more adrenaline, I head out with my Ryker.

On this blog, I share my travels, experiences, and tips – and maybe I can inspire you to discover a little more of the world yourself.
